We are dedicated to conservation, education, and creating memorable experiences in our range of onsite accommodation and venue spaces. With guidance and support from our senior team, you will be expected to:

  • Provide excellent service to our clients, working within brand standards.
  • Carry out sales duties including responding to incoming queries, preparing proposals, conducting venue show rounds.
  • Be a point of contact for contracted clients and couples, answering all questions and making notes.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with clients and wedding couples.
  • Use software & follow processes to build itineraries, contract external suppliers, confirm logistics and finalise internal documents and communications for the wider team.
  • Manage events within budgets set by GM and Directors.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations.

Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and logistical organisation: Put together event plans according to venue processes and client requirements.
  • Liaise with the client, external suppliers and in-house teams to ensure the best possible experience for the client as well as a smooth operation for the onsite team.
  • Use our Events software to facilitate event planning - including the creation of function sheets, kitchen sheets and customer summaries that will be used for the events smooth running.
  • Assist with the contract and timeline of each event, including payment schedules in line with the terms and conditions.
  • Collate and analyse feedback after the event from suppliers, the team and the client.
  • Be involved in regular interdepartmental meetings.

Sales and client account management:

  • Respond effectively to client enquiries, drive sales, providing excellent customer service, and follow sales processes.
  • Preparing event proposals according to venue processes and client requirements.
  • Effective record keeping of events software of all enquiries and monitor conversions.
  • Host venue show rounds.
  • Contribute to events sales and marketing strategy.
  • Communicate with, develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.

Wedding and Events Delivery:

  • Be hands-on to coordinate and assist with the event set-up, from furniture movement and equipment set-up, catering requirement set-up, guest and supplier liaison, guest accommodation check-in, as well as additional client requests.
  • Perform a hands-on role where you will be part of the event delivery team, ensuring the smooth running of the event, and be front facing to the client needs at all times.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and provide an extremely high level of service for our guests and clients at all times.
  • Assist with the clear down of events, including furniture movement, equipment set-down, liaison with maintenance team and catering clear up.

What we are looking for:

This is a role where we are looking for someone with the confidence and enthusiasm to plan and deliver bespoke events. You will, however, have day-to-day guidance from our GM and Directors, along with the materials to support planning and delivery (event software, templates, and policies). As a small family team, there will be support & mentorship from the wider team and management. Due to our remote location, the ability to drive as well as access to your own vehicle is vital.

As a small and young business, attitude is more important than fixed experience requirements, but the following are preferred:

  • Events experience (1 year +).
  • Experience in an accommodation based environment is preferred.
  • 2 years + work experience in a relevant environment (for example candidates with hospitality customer service, sales, administration, retail management would be considered).

Schedule:

Full-time hours based around events and weddings. Weekend and evening availability is a must. Please note from May to September weekend hours will become the core of your working schedule.
