Elmhurst is the UK’s leading provider of training and accreditation for Energy Assessors. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a new team member to join our Existing Dwellings Support team. This role will involve providing technical advice and support to Elmhurst’s DEA membership via phone and email.
The position is based at our Lutterworth office, with possible opportunities for hybrid working for part of the week.
What can I expect to do in the role?
In this role, you will be a key part of our Existing Dwellings Audit and Support team, providing high-quality front-line technical support to our members and trainees. This will involve offering expert guidance through telephone and email queries, carrying out auditing responsibilities, and demonstrating strong technical proficiency to ensure accuracy and reliability.
As a front-line contact, you will also play an important role in promoting teamwork and collaboration within the team, while representing and promoting the Elmhurst brand. Through your support, you will help us deliver on our mission to provide members and customers with authoritative, trusted energy assessment products and services.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Domestic Energy Assessor Level 3 Qualification
- The ability to provide high levels of customer service in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform technical calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to maintain positive working relationships in a team environment.
- Comfort working in an environment where IT is an important tool for the business.
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- Experience in the built environment industry and a keen interest in receiving full accredited training in Energy Assessment as a future career.
- A background in providing telephone and customer support in another industry.
- An interest in renewable energies and/or sustainable buildings.
