Elmelin is a leading manufacturer of thermal and electrical insulation products, supplying customers across more than 15 countries and industries including aerospace, transport, steelworks and electric vehicles. We combine 100+ years of expertise with a modern, innovative mindset—and we’re looking for a Factory Operator to join our friendly team. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone hands-on with good maths skills who wants to build a career in manufacturing. Full training provided.
What You’ll Do
- Operate machinery (full training provided).
- Carry out manual manufacturing and packaging tasks.
- Work from job cards and engineering drawings.
- Use basic measurement tools (vernier, micrometer).
- Check product quality and support a zero-defect approach.
- Follow health & safety guidelines and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace (5S).
What We’re Looking For
- Living within 30–45 minutes of Walthamstow.
- NVQ Level 2 or good GCSEs (especially maths).
- Good communication skills (fluent English).
- Team player, proactive and eager to learn.
- Comfortable with manual lifting.
