We are currently looking for a Paint Technician who takes pride in their work ensuring paints are mixed correctly and customers receive the correct order and outstanding service.

Overview of the role: Work within our operations facility alongside other Paint Technicians to complete customer orders quickly and to a high-quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix paints for industrial coatings, ensuring all formulations of preparation and colour matching are to the highest standard and meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure colour recipes, libraries and samples are updated and maintained.
  • Fill aerosol cans for despatch to customers.
  • Help plan, organise, coordinate and control the dispatch of finished goods.
  • Ensure stock control of colourants and special pigments is completed.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy mixing and laboratory area including tools, equipment, and machinery in line with the 5S principles.
  • Conduct spraying out and testing of coated samples for presentation to customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in spraying or handling coatings.
  • Attention to detail in order to colour match the paints correctly.
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • The ability to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing business using 5S principles is advantageous but not essential.
