Due to the popularity of our Day Service, we are now looking for an additional member of the team to join us as soon as possible. The service runs over three days, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 9am-4:30pm and is based at Burview Hall, Queens Road Walton on Thames KT12 5AB.
Your role will involve assisting in providing outstanding care for the clients attending the centre, helping to organise and run activities, and preparing meals.
You’ll need to have previous relevant experience preferably in a day service or similar setting together with an understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities. NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required for the level 2 post. Those with NVQ level 1 Health and Social Care would be considered at an entry level and support given to achieve level 2.
The successful applicant will be required to complete relevant safeguarding checks which will include references and criminal record background clearance.
