Overview
Planning Technical Support Officer role within the Business Support Team. The team validates and registers all planning applications, processes planning appeals, administers the Community Infrastructure Levy, and leads process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Validate a wide range of planning applications.
Respond to enquiries from applicants, agents and members of the public with clear and professional advice.
Manage planning case administration from submission through to decision.
Support coordination of planning appeals and enforcement cases, ensuring statutory deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
Contribute to improvements in planning processes, systems and digital tools to enhance service delivery.
