The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

A great opportunity to be involved in ensuring high quality development is in line with approved plans and ensuring breaches of planning control are regularised. This will ensure the beautiful nature of our rural District is maintained and enhanced, which is in east Surrey, bordering Kent and the London Boroughs to the north. We are a Green Belt authority with two National Landscapes in the District.

As a Senior Enforcement Officer, you will investigate and resolve breaches of planning control on some of the more complex cases. This will need to draw on your experience and knowledge of planning legislation in dealing with sensitive and difficult situations. The Senior Enforcement Officer will report to the Enforcement Manager who will be there to support and provide guidance to you. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative in dealing with your caseload. This is a crucial part of the Enforcement Team to uphold confidence in the planning system. There is a wide variety of cases to investigate so it is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience and skill base.
