The Grants and Adaptions Support Officer is an administrative support role that plays a vital part in ensuring the Council’s aids and adaptions service runs smoothly and efficiently. Working directly to the Grants and Adaptions Manager, this role requires an individual who excels at managing detailed tasks, is precise and accurate with numbers and finance, and is highly organised and methodical, with the ability to independently manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines. Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain data for the collation of statistics, update systems, process payments to contractors and arrange purchase orders.
- Electronic filing, responding to queries from Occupational Therapists and the Council’s outsourced Home Improvement Agency, and arranging and providing note‑taking at online meetings.
- Continuously improve working processes, problem‑solve to find solutions using attention to detail and a resourceful, flexible approach.
- Confidence in using databases and Microsoft software is essential.
