Managing the maintenance, development and stability of all IT infrastructure-based systems and services required by us seems straightforward but you know there is much more to it. The opportunity: We’re not just looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We need a strategic thinker and delivery-focused ICT Infrastructure Manager who can lead from the front – technically and operationally. You’ll work at the heart of several exciting infrastructure modernisation programmes, including:
- Designing and leading the technical migration to Azure Cloud, including adoption of SaaS and PaaS models to improve agility and scalability.
- Co-leading our End User Computing (EUC) migration to Entra ID and Windows 11, helping deliver a secure, modern digital workplace.
- Driving our IT architecture landscape review, shaping our future-state design and technology roadmaps.
- Co-managing the evolution of our cybersecurity posture, ensuring resilience and compliance across all systems.
This is a high-impact role where your leadership will directly shape how we deliver public services through secure, reliable, and innovative digital infrastructure.
What we need from you:
- Proven ability to design and implement strategic network and infrastructure plans that meet capacity, security and operational needs – now and in the future.
- Strong experience ensuring compliance through robust IT architecture and resilient infrastructure.
- Effective management of supplier and partner relationships – ensuring we get the best possible service and value.
- Technical expertise to install, maintain and support core infrastructure components, operating systems, cloud services and specialised tools.

- A forward-thinking leader with the passion to mentor and coach a small but capable team.
- A natural collaborator who can work across IT and business functions to deliver measurable outcomes.
