Who we are: We are an independent provider of health and social care support in the community. We strive to offer care and support, which is tailored to each individual client’s needs. Our person‑centred services support and respect each client’s right to make informed choices about the services they require. Elmar was founded in 1986 and started off in Silsden, West Yorkshire. We were one of the first domiciliary care agencies to provide care services within the UK. In 2018 the company was taken over by new owners and directors. We have grown at a rapid rate since the new owner acquired the company. The company has quadrupled in size in staff numbers, clients, and weekly care hours, and we are still in growing phases. Our dedicated office team are on hand for anything you need. We have an open‑door policy where we encourage our staff to come in for a chat and a cup of tea whenever they want.

The person:

  • Caring, compassionate, kind, and enthusiastic about the care you are providing
  • 100% committed to helping people and improve the quality of life for vulnerable clients.
  • Willing to undertake personal care tasks that include bathing and toileting
  • The ability to follow our policies and procedures
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold a current or willing to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Car drivers and vehicle owners are preferable.
