The Governors of Elm Wood Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants (Level 1) to join a highly dedicated and friendly team. We are looking for someone who has skills in a number of areas, including but not limited to, the Early Years, KS1 or lower Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities:
- Support children who have additional and/or complex needs
- Be committed to our restorative behaviour and relationships policy
- Show energy, enthusiasm and creativity in approach and commitment to the learning ethos of the school
- Be willing to learn about a variety of needs and how to support them
- Be resilient and caring
- Never give up on our children
- Commit to CPD in line with the whole school development plans
- Display open positive attitude where teamwork is valued and have excellent interpersonal skills plus a determination to work for the best outcomes for each child
