We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Speech & Language Therapy Assistant based at Elm Court School. Elm Court School is a special secondary school for students who have learning difficulties with associated social and communication needs. Many of our students have autism.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a creative and skilled communicator who is interested in developing skills in the field of communication and interaction working under the guidance of Speech and Language Therapists. You will be carrying out communication and interaction programmes in 1:1, small group and classroom settings, with support from Speech and Language Therapists on site; this role will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team at Elm Court.
Line management and supervision will be provided by an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, with flexible opportunities for broader supervision and continuing professional development.
