We are looking for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, ideally with up to 3 years experience within a Practice. This is flexible for 2 sessions as in 2 sessions - 10 hours or 1 day - 9.5 hours. In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all of the normal duties and responsibilities associated with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within Primary Care. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients including; home visits, on call and emergency care. Contribution to the leadership and management of the patient services is essential.

  • Must have non Medical Prescribing qualification
  • Must have Physical Assessment adult and child qualification
  • Experience with managing patients with complex and/or long-term conditions
  • Experience and understanding of the GP Practice environment, including in terms of systems and processes, and particularly with regards to confidentiality
  • A commitment to maintaining your clinical skills and knowledge, to ensure our patients receive evidence-based care
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills / ability to work to deadlines
  • A flexibility to work outside of core office hours
  • A full, clean UK driving license
  • Additional roles and responsibilities will attract the higher rate of remuneration according to our payscale.

    On 1 October 2021, ELM Alliance Ltd, the local GP Federation, took responsibility for Ravenscar Surgery.Ravenscar Surgery is a small dedicated team looking after the health and wellbeing of approximately 3800 patients, with the aim to grow in both size and services provided. The practice is a member of the Redcar PCN. We are in purpose built premises at Redcar Primary Care hospital and co-located with the Urgent Treatment Centre, GP Beds and other primary and secondary care services. The practice has its own leadership team, of which this role is one and fully supported by the ELM Alliance GP Federation leadership team for; HR, Governance, Clinical Mentorship and Coaching.

  • ELM Alliance LTD (Eston, Langbaugh, Middlesbrough Alliance) is a GP Federation, established in 2016; wholly owned by the local GP Practices in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland. The organisation delivers primary care and community services by contract with the NHS CCG, Local Primary Care Networks and Local Authorities. In addition, we provide enablement and support to our members.
