On behalf of a UK membership organisation headquartered in Buckinghamshire, we are looking for a communications specialist to join their organisation for 6 months paying up to £50K pro rata. They are looking for someone with extensive experience engaging stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of their newly established chartered body. This role is a full-time post but for the right candidate, they may consider working from home 1-2 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on both External and Internal Communications in all aspects related to their New Chartered Body
- Identify key stakeholders and develop and implement plans to meet their respective requirements
- Work closely with the CEO as well as other senior management internally to ensure a clear communications plan is delivered
- Conduct executive level presentations and facilitate round table discussions
- Work alongside the marketing team and other colleagues to ensure effective messaging and engagement with the membership
The successful applicant must have:
- An excellent track record engaging a variety of stakeholders, from senior staff & corporates to volunteers.
- A proven background communicating on behalf of a professional body
- Extensive experience communicating both to external and internal audiences
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are essential
