Job Description:

A leading UK-wide health education charity requires an interim Media and Communications Manager to support the Marketing and Communications Director in formulating and embedding the 2017 media strategy.

This charity strives to educate people about the harms of substance misuse. As Interim Media and Communications Manager, you will promote the charity\’s work across the UK, taking responsibility for media, PR, stakeholder engagement, internal communications, and managing a team of 2.

Since this role is initially for 3 months, it is essential that the candidate has experience working proactively at a national level, along with line management and developing communication plans and strategies. Experience in public health issues is advantageous but not essential.

Due to the busy period for the charity, they are looking to appoint ASAP. Part-time candidates will be considered.
