The role

The Head of Regulatory Affairs is vital to this initiative. With the effect of Brexit still to be fully determined, and new opportunities around the world to be developed, this is a role of strategic importance.

The Head of Regulatory Affairs will lead the City Corporation’s programme to ensure the right regulatory framework is in place to promote and enhance UK based financial and professional services, and London’s position as the world’s leading international financial centre. You will need a broad and deep understanding of the regulatory environment that affects the City’s competitiveness in order to:

Essential experience

You will be an excellent communicator and influencer. You will understand how regulation is developed and agreed, both in the UK and internationally. This will probably be the result of having worked extensively inside government and/or regulators. You will work effectively with a wide range of people, at different levels, including key partners in government, the regulators, businesses and the Corporation’s political leadership.
