The Opportunity
Our client is a growing, values-led organisation which is helping to transform Britain’s energy system. They are looking for a Head of Government Affairs where you'll shape their political strategy, especially with the new Government and Labour backbencher MPs, to elevate their role in achieving the UK's net-zero ambitions.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Parliament and Government.
- Support the Director in developingand delivering a comprehensive public affairsstrategy
- Provide political insights and forecasts, supporting the Executive Team with written and verbal briefings
Key Skills and Experience required
- Extensive knowledge of UK Parliament and Government operations, with senior-level public affairs experience
- Proven ability to influence decision-makers and maintain a broad political network
- Exceptional lobbying and internal networking skills
