About Youth Futures Foundation: Youth Futures Foundation is the What Works Centre for youth employment, focusing on addressing disparities for marginalized groups. Established in 2019, it promotes systemic change through grants and policy advocacy.

Job Description: Seeking a senior external affairs professional to serve as Strategic External Affairs Lead. You will work with the Director of Policy & Communications to drive strategic priorities and projects in 2024. This role requires skills in communications, public affairs, stakeholder relations, and project management. The contract is for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and execute an external affairs and advocacy plan for 2024, focusing on youth employment thought leadership. Manage themes around mental health, apprenticeships, and NEET prevention. Support the 'What Works' manifesto.
  • Policy & Communications Directorate: Establish project management processes, define partnership approaches, and assist with budgeting and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Manage senior relationships, conduct stakeholder mapping, and develop engagement processes.
