The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role within a high-performing financial services team, acting as the number two to the Head of Financial Services. You will play a central role in shaping client strategy, leading delivery across key accounts, and supporting the continued growth of the practice within a nimble and ambitious agency environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction and delivery of integrated communications programmes for financial services clients
- Act as a senior counsel to clients, building trusted and long-term relationships
- Support and deputise for the Head of Financial Services as required
- Drive new business activity, including contributing to pitches and identifying growth opportunities
- Oversee and mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performing and supportive team culture
- Ensure consistently high standards of delivery across multiple accounts
- Collaborate across the wider agency to deliver integrated, multi-market campaigns
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience within a communications agency, with a focus on financial services and specific experience with asset management clients
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape, including regulatory and reputational considerations
- Proven ability to lead client relationships and provide senior strategic counsel
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Track record of contributing to business development and agency growth
