About the role
We are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join our Finance team on a fixed‑term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous legal cashiering experience who has excellent attention to detail and accuracy, to contribute to a high‑performing, professional team supporting colleagues across the firm.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations and compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules. You will work closely with fee earners, secretaries, and colleagues within the cashiering team, to provide accurate and timely financial support.
Your tasks will include:
- Monitoring the online banking systems
- Reviewing the banking inbox daily
- Supporting the billing process
- Managing daily client‑to‑office account transfers in compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Handling telephone and email enquiries
- Processing invoice payments via the online virtual payment portal
You will have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel and the ability to quickly pick up various in-house systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly regional Firm where Clients and Colleagues genuinely come first.
