Your Role: At EIT we are seeking an experienced UI Designer/Developer with Webflow experience to join our growing central communications team. Reporting to the Websites, Platforms and UX Lead, you will form a key part of delivering EIT’s external digital presence, building web pages and cohesive online experiences for a number of EIT sub brands and external audiences.
Your Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create responsive website layouts and user interfaces by using Webflow, and where applicable standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Support the Digital Experience team with specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Engage with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Requirements Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a UI / Front-End / Web Designer Developer role within a start-up, scale up or tech first environment.
- Webflow, Figma, Front end code repo experience.
- Strong understanding of development approaches and methods.
- Ability to translate design documents into responsive designs.
- Effective communication.
- Ability to explore new technical solutions as challenges emerge.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, agencies and suppliers (designers, developers, product and communications).
- Ability to demonstrate previous experience through portfolio of works (please include your link within your application).
- Organised and reliable.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior experience running UX or UCD workshops with stakeholders or users.
- Experience building non-traditional web experiences outside of standard desktop environments.
- Exposure to mixed-media or creative coding approaches.
- Experience contributing to early stage digital platforms or greenfield products.

Working Together – What It Involves: You must have the right to work permanently in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary. You will live in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford (or be willing to relocate) and can commit to being on site 3 days per working week.
