EIT is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and a flexible approach to work. Responsibilities include:
- Performing planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Collaborating with other teams to identify maintenance needs.
- Participating in the on-call rota for emergency support.
- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new systems.
- Monitoring equipment and building performance through regular inspections.
- Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
- A broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A flexible, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously with good time management skills.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Experience within a lab environment and high-end finish buildings.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Proficiency in using CMMS or similar maintenance software.
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
