As a key member of the Technology leadership team, you will shape and deliver a modern, scalable portfolio of enterprise applications across Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Facilities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure our technology investments deliver measurable impact and enable EIT's mission to solve global challenges. This is a highly visible, business-facing leadership role where you will act as a trusted partner, driving transformation through enterprise SaaS platforms and ensuring adoption, value realisation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development – Lead and develop a high-performing enterprise applications team; build capability across product management, business analysis, and platform administration; foster a culture of collaboration, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Strategy & Roadmap – Define and deliver a multi-year enterprise applications strategy aligned to EIT priorities; identify opportunities to simplify and modernise business processes through SaaS platforms; ensure all investments are prioritised based on value, risk, and organisational readiness.
- Delivery & Adoption – Own delivery of enterprise application programmes end-to-end; ensure platforms are effectively configured and adopted across the organisation; establish governance and prioritisation for enhancements and innovation; track and communicate benefits and outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with senior leaders to shape priorities and roadmaps; communicate complex technology plans in a clear and engaging way; align competing needs to deliver organisational value.
- Vendor & Partner Management – Manage relationships with key vendors, system integrators, and partners; lead selection, negotiation, and performance management of suppliers.
- Governance & Operations – Establish strong governance, security, and compliance practices; ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application services; collaborate with wider technology teams across architecture, data, and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading enterprise application portfolios in complex organisations.
- Proven success delivering and optimising enterprise SaaS platforms (ERP, HR, Finance, CRM, etc.).
- Strong experience partnering with executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver technology-enabled business outcomes.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.
- Strong commercial, budgeting, and portfolio management skills.
- Experience establishing governance and operating models for enterprise applications.
Desirable skills
- Experience in higher education, research, healthcare, or innovation environments.
- Familiarity with Oracle or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience in scale-up or transformational environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks.
