This is a pure new business role. You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging and closing new clients across the UK, bringing in organisations that will benefit from our award-winning managed services and Microsoft-powered solutions. You'll work with a strong brand, a compelling proposition and a team that genuinely obsesses over client outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Drive new business revenue across the UK market, with a focus on mid-market organisations seeking managed IT, cloud, security or modern workplace solutions.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline from scratch β through outbound prospecting, networking, partner referrals and inbound lead follow-up.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: qualification, discovery, solution scoping, proposal, commercial negotiation and contract close.
- Collaborate with our pre-sales, technical and solutions teams to craft compelling, tailored propositions for each prospect.
- Develop and execute a territory plan that identifies the highest-value opportunities across your target sectors.
- Represent us at industry events, partner events and client meetings β building your personal brand and ours.
- Feed market intelligence back into the business to inform our proposition, positioning and go-to-market approach.
- Hit and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets β you'll be rewarded well for doing so.
Who You Are
- A proven new business developer with a strong track record of winning and closing CCaaS deals.
- Comfortable selling complex, multi-service propositions to IT leaders, C-suite and procurement teams in mid-market organisations.
- Self-motivated and target-driven β you thrive on the hunt, enjoy building pipeline from nothing and get real satisfaction from closing.
- Knowledgeable about the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Security and/or Managed Services experience is a strong advantage.
- Experienced in Genesys Cloud new business.
- An excellent communicator who can build rapport quickly, listen well and translate client challenges into clear business cases.
- Organised and data-disciplined β you maintain a clean CRM, forecast accurately and manage your time effectively.
- Collaborative at heart: you bring in the right people at the right time and work well with technical and delivery colleagues.
- UK-based with the ability and willingness to travel to client meetings and industry events across the country.
