We are looking to appoint a happy, reliableMidday Supervisory Assistant to work in a team within our friendly primaryschool for 5 hours per week during term time only (38 weeks per annum). We are deeply committed tohigh quality professional development for all our staff.Duties include:Setting up lunchtimeSupervising children eatingServe up hot mealsClearing up afterwards and putting tables andchairs awaySupervising on the playgroundSupport and encourage positive play andinteractions, in line with the School Behaviour PolicyEnsure that any incidents are reported to theright person and escalated as requiredOther additional tasks that support the effective running at lunchtimeperiodBasic health and hygiene training will be givenalong with safeguarding and first aid training.The ideal candidate will:Be enthusiastic and enjoy working with childrenWant to make our pupils’ lunchtimes a happyexperienceBe able to communicate effectively withchildren of all abilities, recognising the importance of inclusionPromote the safeguarding and welfare of thechildren in our schoolPositively contribute to our school teamUse their initiative, and be hard working andorganisedPromote our school values
