Disrupt Agency are currently looking to hire an experienced Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer that will be based in and around the Brighton area with some other locations nearby. The field-based Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer will get to build client relationships and cover multiple requirements each day within a particular location. All clients will be based along the Southern Counties Coast from East Sussex to Dorset.
As part of a small team, you will undertake both planned and reactive maintenance/PPM, servicing and fault diagnosis & repair based support to ensure the reliable supply of services to clients from small independent cafes, pubs through to major/large organisations within the F&B/Hospitality sectors (Pub chains, hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, care homes etc).
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault diagnosis, repairs and general maintenance on refrigeration equipment as well as other food service/hospitality essential equipment including ice machines, chillers, coolers, cellar coolers, cold rooms etc.
- Build relationships with clients and deliver a high level of customer service.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS FOR A REFRIGERATION / MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
- Hold or have held F-Gas certification.
- The successful candidate will have a proven background within the refrigeration service/maintenance sector or as a refrigeration engineer/maintenance engineer within a service-based engineering consultancy ideally or having worked as an independent contractor who is now looking for a permanent position.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in the hospitality/food & beverage/food services industry, however, we welcome candidates from a variety of industries who hold or have held FGAs certification previously and understand coolers, chillers, fridge maintenance/servicing.
