This is a truly exciting opportunity to join an incredible, fast-growing FMCG brand that is now looking for a National Account Manager to work across their "Out of Home" channel. The aim of this role is to grow distribution by winning new business, spotting opportunities, and nurturing existing relationships. This is a hybrid role, working from Head Office in London 2 or 3 days a week as a minimum. There is a bonus scheme associated with this role, based on your personal performance against agreed KPIs.
The role:
- Winning new business, working to targets and KPIs to ensure success
- Collaborating with trade marketing to drive trial and awareness of the brand and product range
- Working with wholesalers, buying groups, and industry experts to maintain a full pipeline of opportunities
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Managing and growing key existing icon accounts and wholesalers
- Attending industry events to increase brand awareness and secure more business
- Owning and being accountable for your targets and customer P&Ls
Skills & Experience Required:
- Approximately 2 years of FMCG experience as a National Account Manager, with a proven track record of winning new business
- Enthusiastic about winning new business, developing, and owning the growth of this channel
- Curious, excellent listener, eager to understand retailers and how to support their success
- Persistent and resilient, finding ways to succeed ethically and not stopping at the first no
- Empowered to lead your channel proactively
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in engaging buyers creatively and converting engagement into listings
- Good commercial acumen, especially in P&L management, selling, and negotiation
- Ability to communicate complex messages clearly and engagingly
- Excellent rapport-building skills with customers and colleagues to foster trust and achieve results
