Role: Customer & Sales Assistant (Mandarin-Speaking)
Location: Colchester
Contract: Permanent - 20 to 25 Hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business and convert inquiries into bookings for each academic year.
  • Follow up with new applicants, making calls to capture information and drive conversions within set timescales.
  • Utilize Yardi to effectively record and report inquiry levels.
  • Manage applications from start to finish.
  • Conduct virtual and physical viewings of the property.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs set by the accommodation manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of applicants.
  • Liaise with the marketing team and management to suggest suitable assets for driving business.
  • Conduct market research, monitor competitors, and produce actionable insights.
  • Focus on the Chinese demographic, engaging with prospective residents via WeChat and Red.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar CRM systems.
