As we all know (!), in house / inhouse roles are super rare at a junior level, but VERY rare indeed in the property / real estate market. As one of the most successful and forward thinking companies in the Thames Valley, as well as having one of the largest real estate portfolios in the area, a junior associate (NQ and upward) with early gravitas, but also the desire to do well in the local market, is needed. Whist a strong interest in business / the workings of a company (as opposed to a law firm) is needed – you do not need in house experience to apply; candidates from a PP background can absolutely apply.
Above all, you will be bright, commercially sound and be able to get on with a very personable and well connected team. A great opportunity.
Consider:
- Inter alia, your time will reviewing leases, marking up, liaising with the other side and managing the process through to completion. This company is looking for multiple acquisitions of leases per annum, so a strong understanding of leases and the LTA is needed.
- You should be well versed in all property purchase matters - ideally all commercial real estate.
- Other aspects of your cv should include a good general oversight of company legal matters, such as contracts, T&C’s customer issues.
- This is an in house role and as such you will need to know your way around a company!
Please note that due to an abundance of applications we may not be able to respond to all applications.
