Responsibilities

About the team: The LIVE Operations team is obsessed with everything to do with TikTok LIVE. Our focus is to continually champion and optimize TikTok LIVE through working with creators to ensure a creative, fun and safe space for all of our users.

The LIVE Operations team is looking for an enthusiastic UK TikTok LIVE Vertical Creator Manager to help us acquire & grow our Music Creators, influencing them and coaching them to go LIVE consistently.

  • Research and map the current TikTok LIVE Music ecosystem to refine our SOP for Music creator recruitment, onboarding, and growth.
  • Define clear timelines, goals, and KPIs including creators recruited, revenue growth, and market share.
  • Partner with the Acquisitions & Community Music Manager to recruit Music talent on and off platform, with primary focus on on-platform.
  • Execute the full SOP post-recruitment: deliver 1:1 and group training, educational workshops, and ongoing account support to improve content quality, livestream performance, and monetisation within the Music vertical.
  • Partner with the Acquisitions & Community Music Manager and TikTok agencies to train agency managers on best practices for managing Music creators.
  • Equip agencies with the tools, frameworks, and knowledge to operate in alignment with TikTok's standards, helping to grow both the Music creator ecosystem and the wider community.
  • Develop Music-specific education tailored to creators building a livestreaming career rather than a traditional Music career, recognizing that the latter cohort requires targeted motivation to stream consistently.
  • Analyze creator performance data on a regular cadence, identify trends, and iterate the SOP accordingly to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with EU regional teams and the Campaigns team to design Music vertical campaigns that incentivize consistent LIVE activity and complement existing market initiatives.
  • Develop events and projects that maximize livestreaming time and energize both creators and their audiences.
  • Where possible, leverage existing music industry contacts and source partnerships with music industry partners to deliver tailored experiences for top Music creators.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in talent, influencer, or creator management, ideally on a content platform or in an acquisitions-focused role.
  • An existing creator network or connections within the amateur music industry is a strong plus.
  • Ambitious and results-driven, with solid data analysis skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with stretch revenue targets and competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven project and process management skills with the ability to parse data quickly and translate it into clear decisions.
  • Hands-on experience working within a livestream platform or ecosystem.
  • Skilled relationship builder with the professionalism and patience to earn creator trust quickly.
  • Strong understanding of the Music industry, ideally with direct experience working alongside music creators or artists, and established knowledge and connections within the industry.
