Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager
Based in Rotherham
Working hours between 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday.
The role of a TIG/MIG Welder Fabricator is a key position within our company. The safety conscious individual will possess a strong foundation of skills within welding techniques and fabrication whilst being able to demonstrate their eye for detail alongside a high standard of work.
As a TIG/MIG Welder Fabricator, your main responsibilities will include:
- TIG and MIG welding of various materials, including stainless steel and mild steel, with a thickness range of 0.5mm to 10mm.
- Fabricating metal components to precise specifications.
- Performing metal polishing and product finishing to achieve exceptional aesthetics.
- Adhering to safety protocols and quality standards whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborating with the manufacturing and wider team to meet production targets.
- Adapting to process changes and providing feedback on the changes both positive and constructive.
- Supporting other members of our team as and when required and being flexible.
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in fabricating metal components to tight tolerances.
- Excellent metal polishing and finishing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn new products and methods.
- Experience using press break and guillotine is advantageous.
- Experience in fabricating products for the food industry is advantageous.
The successful candidate will have a high level of integrity and honesty whilst being dependable and commercially astute with ambition to grow their role within our forward-thinking and fast-growing company.
