The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day kitchen operation while helping to establish high standards and a positive team culture ahead of launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily management of the kitchen.
- Lead and supervise your section, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of all menu items during busy service periods.
- Help train, mentor and develop junior members of the brigade.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation and waste management.
- Contribute ideas towards seasonal menus, specials and new dishes.
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining exceptional consistency and attention to detail.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Be an experienced Chef de Partie ready for the next step or an established Junior Sous Chef.
- Have previous experience within a quality restaurant, premium bar, hotel or fresh food operation.
- Be passionate about modern cooking techniques and working with high-quality seasonal ingredients.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment without compromising quality.
- Be organised, reliable and capable of motivating others.
- Have a strong understanding of kitchen procedures, food safety and stock management.
