Lead a proactive and supportive pastoral team, drive high standards in behaviour, wellbeing and engagement, and influence whole‑school culture through positive relationships with students, families and staff.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with students, families and staff to foster engagement and promote student wellbeing.
- Encourage good attendance and support student success across the school.
- Drive behaviour standards, wellbeing and engagement within the pastoral team.
- Collaborate with staff and the Principal to secure the best outcomes for students.
- Promote an inclusive, positive and supportive school culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Compassionate pastoral practitioner with experience working within a pastoral team.
- Ability to support, motivate and appropriately challenge students to achieve their best.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with students, families and colleagues.
- A relevant qualification and a passion for inclusive, student‑centred practice.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
