Job Title: Attendance Driver

Location: Weavers Academy, Wellingborough

Salary: NJC 03 £25,614 (Actual £8,702)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: 15 hours, 38 weeks. 3 hours per day, 10:00 – 13:00

About You:

Weavers Academy are seeking a caring, reliable, and resilient individual who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, helping to overcome barriers to attendance and engagement.

With a full clean driving licence and a proactive approach, you will be comfortable working independently, conducting home visits, transporting pupils safely to school, and supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their full potential. Above all, you will share our commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to succeed.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team
  • Ability to be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Ability to manage time effectively

About the Attendance Team:

Our Attendance Team is dedicated to helping every student achieve their full potential through positive engagement and regular school attendance. Working closely with students, families, pastoral staff and external agencies, we take a supportive and proactive approach to overcoming barriers to learning.

As part of the team, you will play an important role in promoting a culture where attendance matters, supporting students to feel valued, connected and ready to succeed.
