Do you love the challenge of finding candidates others can't reach, and do you take pride in building meaningful relationships with people before they even know they're looking? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re excited to welcome a Talent Sourcer to join our growing Talent team at Elliptic, based in the UK. As we continue our ambitious growth trajectory, this role will be instrumental in ensuring we have a steady pipeline of outstanding talent ready to fuel our expansion.
As a key member of the People and Talent team, you will own the early stages of our recruitment process: finding, engaging, and building relationships with exceptional candidates who align with our mission and values. You’ll be the architect of our talent pipelines, using creative sourcing strategies, market intelligence, and proactive outreach to ensure our recruiters and hiring managers have access to the best talent in the market. This is an opportunity to truly shape how we discover talent. From experimenting with innovative sourcing channels and mapping competitive markets to crafting compelling outreach that sparks interest in Elliptic, you’ll play a critical role in building the teams that will drive our future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source exceptional candidates using a variety of channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, social media, professional networks, industry events, and creative research techniques.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across technical and non-technical functions, with a focus on hard-to-fill roles.
- Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence research to identify where top talent is located, understand market trends, and provide insights on competitive hiring landscapes.
- Engage passive candidates with personalized, compelling outreach that tells the Elliptic story and generates genuine interest in opportunities.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and team culture to ensure highly targeted sourcing.
- Conduct initial candidate screening to assess qualifications, motivations, and cultural fit before handing over to recruiters for deeper engagement.
- Track and optimize sourcing tools & metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, channel effectiveness, and response rates to continuously improve sourcing outcomes.
- Champion diversity and inclusion in sourcing practices, actively building diverse pipelines and experimenting with strategies to reach underrepresented talent pools.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives by representing Elliptic authentically in all candidate interactions and feeding insights to help us strengthen our market presence.
What you will achieve in the first 6 months:
- Establish yourself as a trusted partner to the talent acquisition team and key hiring managers, becoming known for delivering quality pipelines consistently.
- Build sustainable talent pipelines for at least three critical hiring areas, significantly reducing time-to-fill for key roles.
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in sourcing metrics, including increased response rates, higher-quality candidate submissions, and improved conversion rates from sourced to hired.
- Successfully source candidates for 10+ hires, playing a pivotal role in helping Elliptic attract exceptional talent during a key growth phase.
- Implement at least one innovative sourcing strategy or experiment with a new channel that expands our reach to talent we weren’t previously accessing.
