Purpose
Keep the hire fleet safe, compliant, and available for customers by carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant, vehicles, and equipment.
Key Accountabilities
- Service and repair plant equipment, excavators and dumpers to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose faults (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) quickly and accurately
- Maintain legal compliance (safety inspections, service records)
- Prioritise urgent breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Plan and carry out scheduled servicing to reduce reactive repairs
- Maintain accurate service records and parts usage logs
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure equipment goes out safe and reliable
- Take responsibility for workshop condition, tools, and safety
