The Role
A highly regarded client is seeking a proactive
HR Coordinator
to support a dynamic and fast-paced HR function. This individual will report into the Senior Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on HR operations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR data management.
This is a broad and hands-on role, ideal for an HR professional looking to deepen their expertise and contribute meaningfully to a growing organisation.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including HRIS (BambooHR) and electronic files.
- Coordinating updates to global payrolls, liaising with Finance and external payroll providers.
- Administering employee benefits such as private healthcare, pension schemes, life insurance, and EAPs.
- Managing the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new joiners.
- Coordinating the offboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition for leavers.
- Supporting the management of consultant and contractor engagements.
- Assisting with the annual performance and compensation review cycle.
- Organising internal and external training sessions, including scheduling and logistics.
- Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries, escalating when necessary.
- Supporting employee engagement and internal communications initiatives.
- Contributing to HR projects including systems rollouts and policy reviews.
- Staying informed on employment legislation to support policy and handbook updates.
- Assisting with employee relations cases and day-to-day HR support, as required.

- A sound understanding of payroll basics and employee benefits.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years\’ experience in a broad HR administration or coordination role.
- Experience in private equity, financial services, or professional services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with UK employment law and immigration/visa processes is a strong advantage.
- Experience using BambooHR (or similar HR systems) is beneficial.
- CIPD Level 3 (or currently studying) is preferred.
