My client, a market leader in their field, has a new opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. They are a well-established market leader, with a professional and dynamic team, delivering a wide portfolio of projects to a variety of clients.
Role Purpose
We are looking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer responsible for the following:
- To design, analyse, and deliver safe, efficient, and compliant structural engineering solutions that support project objectives, meet client requirements, and adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations.
- The Structural Engineer is responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, buildability, and cost-effectiveness of projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets.
Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients, colleagues, and other professionals, using construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop design ideas using current industry software.
- Apply loadings to and calculate stresses and load paths through different parts of a structure.
