We are pleased to represent a rapidly growing, Stokesley based client in their search for an Operations and Scheduling Manager. My client is a market leader who is experiencing rapid growth. Working with customers nationwide, they have a new opportunity for an Operations and Scheduling Manager to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the operations.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Operations Manager to oversee key elements of day-to-day operations including stock planning, schedule creation, purchasing activities, and overseeing a small warehouse. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support the procurement processes while maintaining cost efficiency and meeting project deadlines.
Key duties include:
- Develop and maintain production schedules with customers and suppliers
- Monitor customer order schedules and ensure the correct stock is in place to support timely dispatch to customers
- Provide regular updates on schedule changes, delays, and inventory status to customers
- Manage purchasing activities including obtaining quotes and placing orders for materials, goods, and services
- Managing a small warehouse team
- Monitoring inventory
This is a key role for the business where you will work closely with key customers and the supply chain to create efficient schedules, ensuring stock is available in a timely manner. You will be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks. You will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment and knowledge of LEAN manufacturing would be an advantage but is not essential. Attitude and a passion to get a job done are key for this role.
My client is offering a competitive salary in the region of £50k - £60k depending on experience and career progression opportunities. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
