Elliott Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join their client’s Redditch based team on a permanent basis. Our client, a national organisation and a market leader in their field, has an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in data analytics while contributing meaningful insights that improve operational performance and decision-making across the business.
In this role you will produce data driven analysis that supports the Operations Director in making key decisions on business improvements. You will be able to extract, analyse and interpret data to identify KPI trends and areas for improvement. You will format this data into formats that can be used to make business improvements.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance reporting packs
- Extract, cleanse, and validate data from Salesforce and other platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and track business performance
- Present clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
Data Analyst key skills we are looking for:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
- Experience with Salesforce is beneficial
- Knowledge of Power BI
- SQL/MySQL knowledge
- Experience working with numerous data sources and potentially ‘messy’ data pipelines
- Strong communication skills
