We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Administrator to join our clients team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in ensuring documentation, systems, and processes are maintained accurately and efficiently. You will play a key role in supporting both the Production and Quality Assurance (QA) functions, helping to ensure information is recorded, tracked, and communicated effectively across multiple departments and sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Collating and managing Quality Assurance documentation
- Maintaining and updating production status reports and information
- Generating production work orders
- Issuing material certificates to the QA team
- Scanning, filing, and linking material certification documentation
- Updating internal systems with delivery receipts and relevant records
- Preparing and issuing material traceability reports
- Providing administrative support across multiple sites
- Preparing and issuing welding documentation for QA purposes
- Managing filing, scanning, and document control processes
- Supporting other departments with general administrative duties as required
About You
- Previous administration experience within a production, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- The ability to work methodically, accurately, and efficiently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments
- Good numeracy and IT skills
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
