Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Service Now IT Operations & Asset Management Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Service Now ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and Field Service Management (FSM).
You will play a key role in optimizing IT operations, managing enterprise assets, and delivering scalable Service Now solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Service Management (ITSM) Manage and support ITSM processes, including: Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Knowledge Management Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Ensure service delivery aligns with ITIL best practices.
- Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Manage and enhance Enterprise Asset Management capabilities.
- Support asset portfolio management and lifecycle management.
- Drive RFID implementation and asset tracking initiatives.
- Plan preventive maintenance activities and workflow automation.
- Improve asset utilization and operational efficiency.
Field Service Management (FSM) Support Service Now Field Service Management processes.
Manage field agents, assignments, and scheduling.
Track task execution and service completion.
Ensure efficient coordination between field teams and support teams.
IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manage hardware and software asset lifecycles.
Maintain accurate asset inventory and compliance.
Support software license management and asset governance.
Ensure asset data integrity across the organization.
IT Operations Management (ITOM) Support Discovery and Service Mapping implementation.
Configure and maintain Event Management.
Support Cloud Management capabilities.
Monitor infrastructure health and improve operational visibility.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Optimize Service Now workflows and automate manual processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and governance. Participate in enhancement initiatives and Service Now best practices.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall IT experience. Up to 4 years of hands‑on Service Now experience.
- Strong experience in: ITSM ITOM ITAM Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Field Service Management (FSM) Good understanding of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Experience with workflow automation and Service Now configuration.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA). Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM/ITOM/ITAM/FSM) is an added advantage.
- Experience with enterprise-scale Service Now implementations.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and infrastructure management is a plus.
