We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering to ensure application scalability, stability, and reliability across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing performance test strategies, workload modeling, executing non-functional tests, and providing performance optimization recommendations across complex environments.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering
  • Strong expertise in analyzing performance testing requirements and recommending production-like workload models and test strategies
  • Hands-on experience in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy Definition, Workload Modeling, Test Case Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, and Defect Management
  • Strong experience in executing Benchmark, Load, Stress, Endurance, and other Non-Functional Tests
  • Expertise in analyzing performance test results including CPU, Memory, Network Usage, Garbage Collection, and Database Performance Parameters
  • Strong hands-on experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) with mandatory expertise in:
    • Web HTTP/HTML
    • TruClient
    • Web Services
    • Java MQ
    • RTE
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Geneos, Grafana, Prometheus, BMC TrueSight, and Splunk
  • Hands-on programming experience in C, C++, and Java (Mandatory)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and exposure to On-Premise and Cloud Architectures (OCP / AWS)
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence for defect tracking, test documentation, and collaboration
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance testing requirements and define effective test strategies aligned with business and technical needs
  • Create test plans, workload models, test cases, and test environments for performance validation
  • Execute benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests to validate application performance
  • Monitor application behavior, system logs, and infrastructure performance to identify bottlenecks and risks
  • Analyze performance test results including CPU, memory, network, garbage collection, and database metrics
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DBA, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
  • Publish performance test reports, recommendations, and obtain stakeholder sign-off
  • Continuously track defects, issues, and improvement opportunities to ensure system performance and stability
  • Provide actionable recommendations for performance optimization and engineering improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Performance Engineering for enterprise-scale applications
  • Exposure to cloud-native applications and containerized environments
  • Experience in OpenShift (OCP) and AWS-based environments
  • Strong understanding of production support and application monitoring practices
