We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Security Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle Fusion HCM security. The successful candidate will work closely with functional consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient user access across Oracle HCM modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure Oracle Fusion HCM security using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), including Job Roles, Duty Roles, and Data Roles.
- Configure and maintain security roles, role hierarchies, and data security policies using Oracle Security Console.
- Support the implementation of security requirements across Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and related applications.
- Assist in Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, access reviews, and remediation activities.
- Work with functional teams to translate business requirements into effective security solutions.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating user access and resolving security-related defects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user access issues, including over-provisioning and access gaps.
- Maintain security documentation, including role catalogues, access matrices, and configuration documents.
- Support user access provisioning throughout the Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit requests, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with project teams during implementation and provide post-go-live support, including hypercare and ongoing security maintenance.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Security.
- Strong experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), including Job Roles, Duty Roles, Data Roles, and Oracle Security Console.
- Experience designing and maintaining HCM security for modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and other HCM applications.
- Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD), data security policies, and user access governance.
- Experience supporting at least one or two full Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects.
- Hands‑on experience supporting SIT, UAT, and post‑production issue resolution.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle HCM Cloud Certification.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOX and IT General Controls (ITGC).
- Experience working in large enterprise or transformation projects.
