We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst / Data Visualization Engineer to design and deliver data-driven solutions that help solve business problems and improve decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in data visualization, SQL, and scripting languages such as Python or R, along with the ability to understand customer business objectives and translate them into impactful analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer business requirements and develop end-to-end data-centric solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools.
- Build and optimize complex SQL queries, datasets, and data pipelines for analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and operationalize analytics workflows using Python, R, or similar scripting languages.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and data engineers.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting solutions.
- Continuously enhance technical capabilities and stay updated with emerging analytics technologies and market trends.
- Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the assigned scope of services and responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and translate business objectives into analytics solutions.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on experience in building compelling and user-friendly data visualizations using commercial and/or open-source BI tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for building and maintaining complex queries and data pipelines.
- Experience with Python, R, or similar scripting languages for analytics automation and workflow operationalization.
- 1–2 years of experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Cloudera, or similar technologies.
- Exposure to data pipeline development and database development.
- Understanding of statistical modelling, predictive analytics, or machine learning concepts.
- Certifications or experience in leading analytics and BI platforms such as Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategy, Informatica, Talend, Microsoft BI Stack, SAS, IBM Analytics Solutions.
