We are seeking an Application Developer with strong Java and Linux experience to support Host-to-Host (H2H) integrations. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining system-to-system integrations, supporting file transfers, and ensuring reliable data exchange across platforms. Candidates with a strong technical foundation and willingness to learn new integration tools are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Host-to-Host (H2H) integrations to enable seamless system-to-system data exchange.
- Configure, support, and maintain integration applications and components in Linux environments.
- Execute Linux commands and scripts for application support and troubleshooting.
- Support file transfers between servers and systems (server-to-server, system-to-system, or point-to-point).
- Query and validate data from databases to support integration flows and issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications and system configurations, in accordance with approval processes.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues effectively.
- Participate in on-the-job training for integration platforms such as IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Demonstrate attention to detail in coding, testing, configuration, and documentation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory); experience with other programming languages is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience working in Linux environments, including running Linux commands.
- Experience querying data from databases.
- Exposure to H2H integrations, file transfer mechanisms, or system-to-system integrations.
- Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or similar platforms is a plus; training will be provided.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
