We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our clients' AUM by deepening existing relationships and originating new business across target channels β primarily UK financial advisers and IFA networks, with scope to support institutional client development depending on experience.
This is a high-impact role for a motivated individual with a strong understanding of investment management, multi-asset portfolios, and the UK wealth and advisory landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across the IFA, wealth management, and discretionary/advisory channels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisers, paraplanners, and DFMs to drive fund flows and mandate wins.
- Articulate the firm's investment philosophy, outcome-based approach, and product suite clearly and compellingly to a range of audiences.
- Work closely with the investment and portfolio management teams to ensure up-to-date and accurate technical knowledge, feeding market intelligence back to the business.
- Represent the firm at industry events, adviser roadshows, and due diligence meetings.
- Manage a defined territory or segment, with accountability for AUM growth targets and activity KPIs.
- Collaborate with marketing to support the development of distribution materials, thought leadership, and digital content.
- Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in the CRM system.
- Contribute to the firm's responsible investing proposition as part of the wider client conversation.
Experience of working within the IFA sales space is highly desirable for this opportunity.
