Thesuccessful candidate will be an excellent subject specialist with a strongunderstanding of the A-Level curriculum, high expectations for studentachievement, and a commitment to delivering engaging, inclusive, andchallenging lessons. You will have the ability to inspire learners, contributeto the wider life of the college, and work collaboratively with colleagues tosecure the very best outcomes for students.
Potential applicants should be either:
- A trainee teacher who is successfully completing placement(s)teaching at KS3 & KS4 (applicants currently in training) or
- A colleague with a successful record of teaching with strongexamination results at one or more of KS4 or KS5 (applicants who have alreadygained Qualified Teacher Status).
Applicantsshould also have:
- A detailed knowledge of current developments in educationincluding the supporting disadvantaged students.
- The ability to put vision into practice.
