Senior Business Consultant – Fresh Produce & CEA

Location: West Midlands (Office-based 3 days per week, remote for the remaining days)

Reports to: Head of Sales

We are currently seeking a proactive National Account Manager on behalf of a leading food company, well-known for supplying fresh food to top UK retailers. This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with three office-based days per week and the remaining days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve and exceed annual sales and gross margin targets.
  2. Manage and develop strong relationships with designated customers, ensuring exceptional service and deep understanding of their needs.
  3. Work alongside technical, procurement, and finance teams to drive performance, ensuring sales and margin goals are met or exceeded.
  4. Position the company as the leading and preferred partner for organic products across all retailers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, ideally within the fresh grocery or FMCG industry.
  2. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  3. Proven experience with data analysis, pricing strategy, and customer planning.
  4. Excellent time management, with the ability to work to critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with data input and system management.
