Job Summary
Elliot Thomas Consulting are exclusively partnered with an established and highly regarded interiors business who are looking for a Procurement Administrator to join their team and work closely with the Purchasing Manager. This is a structured, process-driven role, ideal for someone who is organised, detail-focused and enjoys getting things right. There is no negotiation element to the position — you'll follow established processes and support the Purchasing Manager with the day-to-day procurement of high-end interior projects.
The Role
- Raise and process purchase orders
- Obtain and record supplier quotations
- Check pricing, quantities and specifications
- Place orders following agreed processes
- Track orders and delivery dates
- Liaise with suppliers and chase updates
- Maintain accurate procurement records and spreadsheets
- Check invoices and purchase orders
- Support the Purchasing Manager with general procurement administration
About You
- You'll ideally have experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, supply chain or administration, with strong attention to detail and organisation.
- You’ll be: Methodical and process-driven
- Numerically confident
- Comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Office
- A strong communicator
- Able to manage multiple deadlines
- Keen to develop within procurement
- Experience within interiors, furniture, construction or a similar environment would be advantageous.
